OFAE
Hellenic Federation of Road Transports
OFAE is the Greek initials of the Federation that represents, supports and informs the road freight transport operators (of all categories, international, special, national-international), as well as road passenger transport operators using public service touring coaches (other than KTEL or urban transport). With a large volume of information to handle and immense need for regular updates, we were called for to develop and design a website that managed to structure the content in a user friendly manner, while facilitating updates.
The objective of the Federation is to provide the professional drivers with easy and immediate access to news, regulations and laws regarding licenses, qualifications etc. Aside to the informational aspect, however, OFAE also has a commercial substance, as an educational body for the drivers and a provider of licenses- like TIR. This dual character of the Federation is what we attempted and managed to show off through ofae.gr/en/
In fact, we built a bilingual portal for the road transport operators, in a way that enables browsing and searching, very user friendly despite the large volumes of information contained. The prerequisite for regular updates was answered with a CMS, specifically developed for this project, that allowed the OFAE administration team to easily manage the content, after a short training. In that way, the OFAE portal has grown into a handy and useful portal for the drivers.
