For Ikaros Publications we designed and built an online store where reading and buying belong together. A book arrives with everything around it: the author, what the critics said, where it is being presented next. The price and the basket sit beside all that, not in place of it. Ten years of running the store we built for them in 2015 is what taught us to put it that way.

Thessaloniki Film Festival
Ένας από τους μεγαλύτερους πολιτιστικούς θεσμούς της χώρας ζει σε διαρκή κίνηση. Ταινίες, σκηνοθέτες, αφιερώματα, προγράμματα προβολών σε πολλές αίθουσες, παράλληλες διοργανώσεις που η καθεμία έχει τη δική της ταυτότητα και το δικό της κοινό. Ολο αυτό έπρεπε να χωρέσει σε ένα website που να εντυπωσιάζει τον επισκέπτη και ταυτόχρονα να αφήνει τους ανθρώπους του Φεστιβάλ να δουλεύουν με άνεση και αυτονομία.
Σχεδιάσαμε ένα περιβάλλον φτιαγμένο αποκλειστικά για τον χαρακτήρα του Φεστιβάλ και το στηρίξαμε πάνω σε ένα σύστημα χτισμένο με σύγχρονες τεχνολογίες ανοιχτού κώδικα. Δώσαμε στους διαχειριστές πραγματικό έλεγχο, με κάθε σελίδα να συναρμολογείται από έτοιμα δομικά στοιχεία που ο καθένας επιλέγει και διατάσσει όπως του ταιριάζει, ενώ η αρχική σελίδα ακολουθεί τον ρυθμό του οργανισμού. Οταν τρέχει μια διοργάνωση, την υποδέχεται στο προσκήνιο. Οταν ολοκληρώνεται, επιστρέφει φυσικά στην ταυτότητα του ίδιου του θεσμού.
Πίσω από αυτή την ευκολία υπάρχει ένα σύστημα που σηκώνει τον πραγματικό όγκο του Φεστιβάλ. Μεταφέραμε ολόκληρο το περιεχόμενο από το παλιό website στο νέο, ώστε η ιστορία του να περάσει ακέραιη. Το πρόγραμμα των προβολών ανεβαίνει μαζικά, κάθε ομάδα δουλεύει στον δικό της χώρο με τα δικά της δικαιώματα, και το ενσωματωμένο eshop ολοκληρώνει την εικόνα. Ολα μέσα σε ένα περιβάλλον πολυγλωσσικό, προσβάσιμο σε άτομα με αναπηρία, και σχεδιασμένο να παίζει άψογα από τον υπολογιστή μέχρι το κινητό.
Το αποτέλεσμα φάνηκε από την πρώτη κιόλας μεγάλη διοργάνωση. Οι άνθρωποι του Φεστιβάλ ανεβάζουν και ανανεώνουν περιεχόμενο με άνεση που πριν δεν είχαν, και οι συνεργάτες του στάθηκαν στο πόσο καλά προβάλλονται πλέον οι ταινίες και οι εκδηλώσεις.

We recently launched a new e-commerce platform targeting local and international markets. The website features an independent shopping basket, links to partner stores, and revamped product pages with larger images, detailed descriptions, and user-friendly features. Moreover, the site provides instructional content for creating seasonal looks using Seventeen’s products.
HYDRIA Virtual Museum
The HYDRIA Virtual Museum is an impressive exhibition of Mediterranean water management strategies from ancient to the present times. It showcases the ingenuity of our forefathers in devising sustainable water practices and highlights how modern technology can meet current needs without damaging the environment. Drawing inspiration from water flow, we have created a website that provides a seamless, liquid-like experience during navigation.
